1 General
Fidenti Legal exercises the utmost due care when dealing with the personal data of her clients and of visitors to her website. Fidenti Legal uses the collected data to enter into and execute agreements for the provision of her legal services, to manage the business associates emerging from the provision of such services, to maintain contacts and to comply with the legal obligations to which Fidenti Legal is bound.
2 Data processing
Fidenti Legal processes data such as your name, the name of your organisation, and your position, address, telephone number and email address. The data is processed in a manner which complies with the requirements stipulated in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Fidenti Legal exercises due care when dealing with the personal data that you provide to her. Personal information is always dealt with confidentially, also data which is provided to the website of Fidenti Legal.
3 Use of data
Fidenti Legal uses the data that you supply to her to be able to accommodate your request or carry out your instructions. Such data is required in order to establish your identity, to be able to communicate with you, to deal with your request or instructions carefully and, for example, to prevent your data from being misused by any other person.
4 Grounds
Fidenti Legal processes your data based on the following legal grounds (GDPR):
- consent – you give your consent for processing the data which you have provided to Fidenti Legal. You may always revoke such consent by notifying Fidenti Legal accordingly.
- when executing an agreement to which you are party. For example, this applies to the legal services Fidenti Legal provides;

- to safeguard the legitimate interests of Fidenti Legal, such as improving our website.
5 Provision of data to other parties
Fidenti Legal will not supply your personal data to any other party without your explicit consent. When processing your data Fidenti Legal employs other parties to provide services for her, for example, to manage her electronic files. Fidenti Legal uses this service to record and report on the way visitors use the Fidenti Legal website. Google may supply such information to other parties if it has a legal duty to do so or in so far as it is processed on behalf of Google. Fidenti Legal does not exercise any influence over this. The information which Google collects, is anonymised as far as possible. Your IP address is explicitly not provided. The information is passed on to Google, which stores it on servers in the United States.
7 Security
Fidenti Legal ensures that your data is protected from being inspected by unauthorised parties. Fidenti Legal does this through the security measures adopted for her systems, which render it impossible for an unauthorised party to inspect, manage or use such data. All personal information is dealt with confidentially and is stored on secure servers.
8 Retention periods
Your personal data is not retained for longer than is strictly necessary. The underlying principle is that Fidenti Legal has a duty to comply with her legal duties in this respect. For this reason your file will be retained for no less than 10 years (in an electronic archive) after it is closed. In some cases a longer retention period may be required. Fidenti Legal may proceed to destroy your file once the period expires.

What are your rights under the GDPR?

- You are entitled to inspect the data which is processed and to receive a copy of it with due regard of another party.
- You are entitled to add to or correct your data. You are entitled to request that your data will be deleted, unless we have a duty to retain it pursuant to our legal obligations or if someone else has a substantial interest in the retention of such data.
